My message is very simple: stop for a moment and look around. There is a beauty everywhere, in the simplest imaginable things, beauty we so often ignore or just take for granted. Take a moment to notice trees, grasses moved by the wind, shapes of clouds in the sky, reflections of a surrounding areas on the surface of the water, ever-changing color of lake or sandy beach. Close your eyes and feel.......
My favorite subject is landscape. I found it so rich in correlation of many elements, the tease of light and shade, and connected together in perfect union by interlocking tones of color.
I don't want to shock the viewer. I don't leave anybody second guessing, discovering symbols or hidden meanings. I'm taking a viewer on the unforgettable trip to the place full of peace, melancholy, harmony, and relaxation. Instead of trying to figure out the hidden messages I want everybody to look at my pictures and feel the morning dew, smell the air, walk the plains and to enjoy the moment and beauty of nature.
Did you ever notice how many times a day the color of the lake changes? Did you ever pay attention to how similar twilight and sunrise could be, except for the feel and clarity of the air? After a long and busy day, when by looking at my art someone feels more at peace with themselves and more relaxed - I accomplished my goal.
